You’ll collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to cutting-edge projects, and help deliver high-performance results across a range of applications.

What you'll be doing

Lead the design and development of complex composite engineering systems and components

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions

Collaborate directly with our production team to implement practical solutions on the factory floor

Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation

Perform design analysis, testing, and validation to ensure product quality and reliability

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our engineering processes

Mentor and guide junior engineers to develop their technical skills and design expertise

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, with a strong background in CAD, FEA, and product development

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

Proficient in the use of design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or ANSYS

Proficient in current versions of design software: SolidWorks 2023, AutoCAD 2024, or Fusion

Experience in manufacturing processes and materials selection

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

A passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement

Demonstrated experience with composite materials (e.g., carbon fibre, glass fibre) design and manufacturing

Must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain/maintain relevant security clearance
