GCIT Account Manager
Purpose
The primary objective of the Account Manager is to oversee the day-to-day management of a territory of clients, ranging from small to large businesses. This role is focused on nurturing client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
The Account Manager will execute functions within the sales process, support the broader sales and service teams, and ensure customer needs are met promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Champion and embody all company Core Values
Proactive and reactive management of Managed Services clients
Develop and execute an account management strategy for all Managed Service clients
Conduct monthly, quarterly, or annual business reviews based on client categorisation
Maintain strong, ongoing client relationships through scheduled and consistent communication
Ensure client concerns are resolved in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, escalating issues as needed
Assist with administrative tasks to support annuity renewals for existing clients
Manage agreement renewals where applicable
Prepare client quotes and ensure all relevant details are documented in the CRM (ConnectWise)
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
Maintain a sound understanding of the company’s services and capabilities and communicate them effectively to clients
Record all client communications and sales activities within the CRM system
Complete ongoing vendor sales training to maintain strong product knowledge
Assist with other duties related to the Sales and Marketing department as required
Take ownership of tasks and follow through on commitments
Prerequisites
Qualifications
No formal qualifications required for this role
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Sales or as a Technical Account Manager
Previous background in technical support is highly regarded
Knowledge
General knowledge of a broad range of IT technologies is expected
