Senior Control Systems Engineer

• Up to $180k per annum including super
• Gladstone, Queensland

Role Opportunity
Work with a specialised electrical engineering and project management company. Create detailed electrical and control system designs. Engage with clients on-site to collect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering with RPEQ or eligibility to obtain
• Experience with multiple PLC programs, such as Rockwell, Scheider, etc
• Experience with SCADA systems, including design and implementation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Previous experience working on mining projects and understanding of Australian standards

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems based on project requirements
• Lead and mentor a team of Control Systems Engineers
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth integration of control systems
• Conduct testing, diagnose issues, and debug systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to control systems when required
• If required, be willing to travel to sites as needed on an ad-hoc basis
