Workfast is looking for a Project Engineer to join a civil construction contractor on a major projects in North Queensland.

We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Engineer to join a respected mid-tier civil construction contractor with a solid reputation in the industry. With consistent project work and a strong focus on safety, this is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a team-driven environment and is ready to take the next step in their engineering career.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil construction project engineering roles
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, in-ground services, and pavement construction
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of computer literacy
• Current Australian Class C driver’s licence

What you will be doing:

• Managing site-based documentation and project reporting
• Liaising with clients and project managers to schedule inspections
• Pricing and submitting project variations
• Ensuring all project records and documentation are up to date and accurate
• Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
• Supporting the delivery of civil infrastructure projects safely and efficiently
