A great new opportunity has been created to join this dynamic ASX listed construction business for a Senior Financial Accountant to work closely with an experienced Financial Controller who will provide career development and growth opportunities. With a core focus on technical reporting you will work collaboratively in a supportive team environment that is driven to optimise outputs and deliver improved efficiencies in reporting. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will take ownership across the technical month end reporting whilst driving process improvements.

Duties will include:

Prepare financial statements

Review P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and journals

Manage audit engagements and drive internal controls

Support budget reporting and deliver performance reports

Optimise business processes and systems upgrades

Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified with proven experience reporting in a regulatory based environment complying with ASX and AASB reporting requirements. A passion for driving business process controls and implementing improved systems will be essential to the success in this role.
