Overview:

Our client is based in Sydney’s CBD, within walking distance of Central Station.

Everyone says they are a great team to work with.

They are looking for an experienced (5 years plus) analyst to join their IT team.

Work is hybrid – 2-3 days a week in the office, the rest WFH. The actual WFH days may be varied at times, depending on the need to be present for workshops on site, etc.

This contract is for an initial 6 months, with a strong potential for extension.

You need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply.

You also need to be a Sydney (or environs) resident (ie, not residing interstate).

The key focus on this role is the development of new reports, and enhancements to existing reports. A particular area for excellence required is KPI reporting. This is mandatory.

The client is using Salesforce, so you need to have strong and demonstrable experience working here. This is mandatory.

From a pure reporting standpoint, while you may have (say) PowerBI and Dynamics experience, because it is a Salesforce environment, we are looking for strong Tableau and/or CRM Analytics experience. One or both is mandatory.

Key Accountabilities:

As part of this IT project-centric role, you will be:

Involved with working with a range of stakeholders with regards to discussing / workshopping requirements with regards to KPI reporting and what is really needed;

Evaluating reports and carefully considering whether the reports are actually providing relevant information the business needs;

Clearly document and annotate all work.

Overall responsibilities will include:

Business Requirements Gathering: working with business stakeholders to gather business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for data analysis and reporting.

Data Collection: Gathering data from various sources, including databases (mainly Salesforce), and some external data sources, and analysing it to identify trends and insights.

Reporting: Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights in a clear format to business stakeholders, allowing them to make informed decisions.

Data Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data by implementing data quality checks and validation processes.

Training and Support: Providing training and support to business stakeholders, ensuring they can effectively utilize the data provided.

Essential skills:

You must have strong functional experience working with Salesforce.

As the focus of this role will be reporting, you need to have solid Tableau and / or CRMA experience.

You need to have demonstrable experience developing KPI-based reporting.

You will be discussing reports (new and old) with key business stakeholders, so you must have very good spoken and written English.

Additionally, you must have some experience with, and understanding of:

Salesforce data structures.

Data Governance.

Master Data Management.

Qualifications preferred:

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certifications in relevant fields.
