About the Role

We’re currently seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic and forward-thinking government agency undergoing a number of digital transformation and integration initiatives.

In this role, you’ll work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to understand complex workflows and processes, helping to deliver scalable integration solutions that align with both immediate operational needs and broader strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to gather and validate business and technical requirements.
• Map and analyse business processes, workflows and data flows.
• Recommend and document solutions to improve performance and enable system integration.
• Collaborate with developers, testers and project teams through Agile and Waterfall lifecycles.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of quality documentation including process maps, test plans, and technical specs.
• Support ongoing continuous improvement through automation and best practice research.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst on integration-focused projects.
• Strong background in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and integration methodologies.
• Experience working across Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD concepts.
• Strong skills in Visio, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
• Basic understanding of Power BI for reporting and analysis.
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Project management certifications (e.g., Scrum, PMBOK, AgilePM, or Prince2) highly regarded.
