Are you a Business Analyst with deep expertise in Travel and Expense systems, SAP integration, and system testing? Are you ready to play a pivotal role in implementing a next-generation Travel & Expense Management System rolled out across multiple NSW Government agencies?

We are seeking 2 experienced Business Analysts (SME/Testing) to join a fast-paced, collaborative team delivering real reform in public sector travel, purchasing, and compliance. If you thrive in hybrid agile environments, can bridge business needs with technical execution, and know the ins and outs of travel allowances, PCards, VCards, and expense workflows, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key SME bridging business, vendors, and technical teams.
• Analyse and document complex business processes, technical integrations, and user requirements.
• Lead the testing strategy: create test plans, coordinate testers, and ensure system readiness.
• Embed Agile practices, define user stories, and shape system enhancements.
• Drive stakeholder engagement across multiple departments, ensuring outcomes are aligned to policy and user needs.
• Produce full suite documentation – process maps, interface specs, user stories, use cases, and testing protocols.

Subject Matter Expertise Required:

• NSW Travel Booking workflows via FCM.
• In-depth knowledge of Travel Allowances aligned to government awards.
• Admin and compliance knowledge of PCards and VCards.
• Out-of-pocket claims: policy compliance and system support.
• Hands-on experience with Travel & Expense system configuration/support.
• Solid understanding of SAP integration for Payroll & Finance.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst/SME on large system implementations (preferably government).
• Strong functional knowledge of travel & expense management and testing lifecycle.
• Confident in engaging diverse stakeholders, from Finance to Project Delivery to Tech.
• Competent in SAP-integrated financial workflows.

Desirable:

• Experience rolling out a Travel & Expense platform (Concur, Fraedom, Serko, or similar).
• Experience across multiple NSW Government agencies.
