Join the Avondale Team – Events Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: Pymble, NSW
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm (24 hrs/week minimum)
Salary: $38.00/hr + Superannuation
Avondale Golf Club is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Events Administrator to support our dynamic Events and Food & Beverage team. This permanent part-time role offers a unique opportunity to work in a premium private golf club environment, delivering exceptional events for members and corporate clients.
About the Role
As Events Administrator, you will be instrumental in the planning, coordination, and administrative delivery of club functions – including private events, internal functions, and external golf days. Reporting to the Clubhouse Manager, you will work closely with the Events Coordinator and F&B Operations Manager to ensure seamless event execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
Respond to initial enquiries and assist with event outlines
Liaise with members and clients to confirm bookings and logistics
Coordinate billing and reconciliation for events
Assist with internal event marketing and promotional content
Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth event delivery
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in event administration or coordination (hospitality/club setting preferred)
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with professional email and phone etiquette
Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management systems (e.g. Northstar, Deputy)
A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
Additional Details
Permanent part-time role, 24+ hours per week
Flexibility in rostering
6-month probation period with review
Covered under the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020
