Assistant accountant (Full-time)

Location: Chatswood,NSW

AC Premier Accounting is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our professional team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates or those with 1–3 years of experience in accounting.

About you:

High attention to detail and time management

Good communication and customer service skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)

CPA/CA qualification or active progress toward certification

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin

Main responsibilities:

General admin tasks: emails, filing, data entry, document handling

Liaising with ATO, ASIC, and clients

Assisting with business registrations and compliance forms

Prepare and lodge Single Touch Payroll (STP), BAS, and GST reports,

Assist in the preparation of financial statements

Support accountants with document preparation and other administrative tasks
