Assistant Accountant$80,000 – $85,000 + Super | Wetherill Park | Full-Time, Permanent

The Role As our Assistant Accountant, you’ll play a key role in keeping the accounts running smoothly and supporting the day-to-day finance operations. You’ll enjoy variety in your work and lots of hands-on experience — plus, you’ll be backed by plenty of training and ongoing mentorship from the Financial Manager, so you can continue to grow your skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• General ledger reconciliations
• Bank allocations and daily banking tasks
• Accounts Payable processing
• Some Accounts Receivable follow-up calls
• Reconcile two company credit cards
• Full function payroll processing, including EBA entitlements
• Minor intercompany transactions
• Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed

About You

• You have a practical, can-do approach and love being part of a small, growing team
• You’re organised, detail-oriented and eager to learn
• You have experience in GL recs, AP, AR and payroll, or you’re ready to build on what you know
• You like variety and take pride in solving problems and improving processes
• You enjoy working closely with a mentor and developing your skills further
