The Company

Reporting into a strong, dynamic, and experienced leadership team, you will be provided with clear direction and great mentorship. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced AP officer who is looking to step up to an Assistant Accountant!

The Role

As the Assistant Accountant, your duties will include the following (but are not limited to):

Full-function Accounts Payable

Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation

Assist with Accounts Receivable

Month-end assistance – P&L, balance sheet, journals

Assist with GST and BAS calculations

Ad hoc duties

Please note, this role will be just AP for the first 2-3 months. After this period, AP duties will be transitioned out, and you will focus on the assistant accountant duties.

Your Background

To be considered for this opportunity, they are looking for someone with:

Minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable position

Degree qualified as a minimum

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ideally short notice period or immediately available
