Business Development Manager – IT & Cybersecurity Solutions Melbourne
Up to$110k + Super + Uncapped Comms (up to 15%) | Salary review at 6 months
Focus: Cybersecurity, Managed Services, ISP, VOIP, Hardware
A fast-growing, ISO 27001-certified Managed Services Provider (MSP) is on the hunt for a sharp and driven Business Development Manager to help scale their presence across Australia. With deep expertise in cybersecurity and a track record of high client retention, this business offers you the platform, credibility, and technical firepower to succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving the full sales cycle – from prospecting through to closing
- Selling a broad portfolio: Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity (SOC, dark web monitoring), ISP, VOIP, and hardware via a dedicated eShop
- Navigating a 2–3 month sales cycle, closing deals between $50k–$150k TCV
- Articulating the value of locally based support, certified engineers, and deep cyber credentials to SMBs
- Collaborating with an agile leadership team and delivery group to ensure successful onboarding and long-term relationships
What We’re Looking For
- A proven BDM or Account Executive with tech sales experience
- Commercially savvy, goal-oriented, and capable of building a revenue engine from scratch
- Based in Melbourne or the eastern suburbs
- Open to strong communicators from diverse backgrounds – closing experience in tech is a must

Compensation & Targets
- Base: up to $110k + super
- Comms: 10% standard | Up to 15% with accelerators | 5% on renewals (2–3 year terms)
- Quarterly bonuses based on performance
- Target: 40 seats/month = ~$540k TCV annually (earn 15% on target achievement)
