About Us
Barrett Plaster is a Melbourne-based commercial contractor delivering both internal and external packages across Victoria’s booming construction industry. Our scope includes carpentry, cladding, partitions, ceilings, doors and hardware, sanitary fit-offs, and architectural detailing. We work with some of the most reputable builders on jobs ranging from $100k to $1m+.
About the Role:
You’ll be overseeing the daily operations on multiple active sites, ensuring quality, safety, and program delivery while keeping things running smoothly with your Project Manager. This is a leadership role with occasional tool use, but your primary focus will be coordination, accountability, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site delivery across active commercial projects
Conduct toolbox talks & SWMS briefings
Coordinate subcontractors, labourers & deliveries
Ensure quality, safety & compliance standards
Maintain clear comms with PM and report issues early
Submit Daily Site Diaries via Simpro (non-negotiable)
Step in on the tools where necessary during install stages
Represent Barrett Plaster professionally when dealing with builders & trades
Tools & Systems:
Simpro for daily forms & SWMS
Email & group messaging for comms
Working knowledge of programs and construction docs
