We’re seeking a Site Supervisor / Foreman to lead site operations on an upcoming shopping centre refurbishment project in Mornington. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in live environments, exhibits strong attention to detail, takes pride in a clean, well-run site, and can keep things moving safely, on time and to spec.

About the Role

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operations on site — managing subcontractors, maintaining site safety, coordinating trades, and keeping the project on track. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and well resourced site team to deliver a quality outcome in a live retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily site activities and subcontractor works

Ensure safety standards, signage and compliance are maintained at all times

Work in and around live retail environments, coordinating works to minimise disruption

Track progress against the construction program and assist with short-term planning

Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain daily site records

Communicate with project stakeholders and help resolve on-site issues as they arise

Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are upheld throughout

Reports to Senior Site Manager and as is assisted by Project Coordinators who are managing the respective works

What You Bring

Proven experience supervising commercial construction or refurbishment projects

Background in retail, shopping centre or fit-out projects (highly regarded but not essential)

Strong understanding of OH&S and live-site risk management

Demonstrated ability to lead construction activities and manage trades

Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes and construction programs

Trade background (carpentry preferred) or equivalent construction experience

White Card and valid driver’s licence required
