Role Overview: As a Senior Site Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standard. You will lead by example, working alongside your team while maintaining an active presence on the tools. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility for the direction and success of the project, as well as the development of your team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to transition into more senior management roles within the company as you demonstrate your leadership skills and project management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring all tasks are completed according to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.

Provide direction and support to site crews, including tradespeople, laborers, and subcontractors.

Take a hands-on approach to work, actively participating in tasks when required, and demonstrating best practices.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.

Coordinate and manage the delivery of materials, equipment, and tools, ensuring they are available when needed and used efficiently.

Monitor the progress of work, report any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Conduct site inductions and tool box talks to ensure team members are informed and trained on health and safety procedures.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Maintain high standards of quality control, inspecting work to ensure it meets industry standards.

Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, assisting with skill development and career progression.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing insights and feedback to improve site operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman, or Supervisor with minimum 10years experience with multi level commercial construction over 10M in value

Trade qualified with solid technical and practical construction knowledge

Must be able to read and interpret plans accurately

Hands-on experience with tools and machinery

Strong understanding of construction processes, site operations, and safety protocols.

Ability to manage a team effectively, with a focus on communication, conflict resolution, and performance management.

Committed to maintaining a safe and managed site

Proven ability in managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating site activities.

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions.
