Our first venture into the hospo world saw us turn a dilapidated heritage-listed Civic Video store in Katoomba, Blue Mountains into an award-winning brewpub serving Australia’s #1 rated beer. Since then, we have opened two venues in Sydney, and now we are growing our venue footprint across Melbourne and Tasmania.
We are looking for a talented Food & Beverage Manager to strengthen our Front of House operations at our Taproom in Redfern.
In this role, you'll be responsible for working with and supporting the Venue Manager in providing a great customer experience, maintaining COGs and labour targets, cellar maintenance, and team management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, craft beer, and a passion for providing a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring customer experience is top notch and food & beverage maintains quality and consistency.
Lead and train the team, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Manage inventory and maintain cost-effective operations.
Work within labour budgets
Ensure compliance across all aspects of the venue
Thorough understanding of tap beer and keg room maintenance
Who You Are:
A manager with at least two years of experience who loves being hands on in a casual fast paced venue.
Experienced working with a dynamic team in a busy environment.
An effective communicator who fosters teamwork and supports staff development.
Committed to maintaining high standards of customer service
