Assistant Hotel Manager – Central Coast

We are searching for an experienced and energetic Assistant Hotel Manager to help lead a large-scale venue with a major focus on food and beverage, events and guest experience.

With 91 rooms, 5 function spaces, a bustling à la carte restaurant and events hosting up to 500 guests, this is no small gig.

You will be overseeing a crew of 85 staff and department heads across accommodation, food and beverage, events and operations, with full ownership of labour, COGS, budgets and performance.

The role

• Lead day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring a consistently high standard of service
• Drive financial performance including labour control, COGS, forecasting and budgeting
• Oversee food and beverage operations including a la carte restaurant, bars and large-scale functions
• Manage and support department heads to maintain staff engagement, efficiency and service
• Ensure seamless execution of events and conferences across 5 flexible function spaces
• Collaborate on strategy with senior leadership with clear progression toward a future GM role

You’ll bring

• Proven experience managing multi-department hospitality operations
• Strong background in food and beverage, events or hotel operations
• Confident leadership style with the ability to coach, guide and inspire teams
• A commercial mindset and solid understanding of hotel financials
• Calm, capable, hands-on management under pressure
