The role
As a Fast Food Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of your restaurant, staff management, staff training and providing business updates to your Area Manager or Operations Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience while managing financial performance.
As a Fast Food Manager you will deliver a customer experience that the brand is proud of, growing ongoing employee engagement, and adhering to compliance standards. Food quality, people development, local area marketing strategies, sales growth and profit are integral parts of your role.
Skills and experience
You’ll have:
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR at least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
You must have at least 1 year of relevant post qualification employment experience undertaken in the last 5 years
A passion for food and restaurant operations
Desire to make an impact on customers and team members
A can-do work ethic and the ability to take initiative on projects
Ability to lead, motivate, and build an efficient team in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership ability, approachability, and a reputation as a role model

Your tasks
You will:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of your restaurant
Roster the crew in your restaurant to ensure customer experiences and costs are effectively managed
Ensure your restaurant orders the right amount of food/dry stock to be delivered to the customer as fresh as possible, with no wastage
Undertake the following activities for your restaurant: forecasting, ordering, receiving orders, managing re-orders, managing stock counts and rotations, portioning, and managing the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
Understand and take action on key metrics (e.g. restaurant sales and costs) to allow for future growth
Work collaboratively with our Marketing team to identify and execute opportunities for local area marketing - this may include partnering with local businesses and hosting events to enhance brand perception and drive sales in your restaurant
Manage all expected reporting, sales and expenses
Deliver superior customer service, to every customer, every time
Maintain critical standards of product quality, daily food safety and sanitation
Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards
Manage and train team members to grow with us.
