You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and running of this busy venue. This role is a full-time management position that will require you to be involved in staff training/leading, stock control, financial reconciliation and driving trade.

We are primarily seeking someone who will be on the floor, leading the team and creating positive and genuine interactions and experiences for our guests. Also having the ability to back up with excellent back of house and reporting. You will support and be assisting in deliverying a high standard of operations focusing on the delivery of seamless end-to-end customer experiences and a culture of performance. While in this role, you will be exposed to all facets of a thriving hospitality business inclusive of Functions, Entertainment, Food, Beverage and Gaming in a FOH & BOH capacity, with people around you to help grow and develop your managerial skills in a hands-on role. With a diverse range of entertainment events, DJ's, live music, comedy,trivia, karaoke, cabaret and burlesque events, coupled with a great team and working environment, there is never a dull moment.

About You:

Mature-minded, result driven and honest individual.

Able to confidently train and lead a team.

Ensuring superior service and quality to ensure delivery of outstanding guest experiences.

Drive a positive working environment and lead by example as a manager

Knowledge of, and interest in, all things gaming. Must have TAB/KENO & gaming experience.

Able to work full-time, shift-work hours. Late nights 12AM closer and weekend availability are a must.

Knowledge of industry, licensing regulations.

RSA/RCG/ ARCG required. If you do not have them, you will also be required to complete your TAB basics/AML

Critical to this role is the ability to take a strategic approach in driving revenue,

Management, food and beverage, customer service and achieving financial targets.

Previous management experience will be favourably looked upon.

Skills/ Experience:

Strong Proficiency in both food and beverage. Management & Gaming experience is preferred

Solid understanding of gaming and TAB facilities

What is required?

2yrs Hospitality Management experience

Exposure to both Bar and Restaurant environments

Experience in the controlling financial aspects of a business

The ability to lead, train and develop a team

RSA, RSG, ARCG,TAB Basics & Advanced essential

First aid certificate is preferred but not essential

Approved Managers Certificate preferred but not essential

Our team of professional bartenders deliver exceptional cocktails and quality service, but know when to turn the place into a party when times suit.

This is all designed to go hand-in-hand with our modern Australian Pub that offers pub classic with a twist, canapes bespoke set menus for functions & events. We focus on using local produce of the highest quality to create an unpretentious dining atmosphere. The menu changes seasonally using sustainable produce as much as possible. The chefs make as much in house which flows through to the end product.

On top of all this The Forgotten Cask Cocktail Bar also contains event spaces, which can be tailored to suit everything from weddings, formal sit-down dinners, birthday parties, live music events, corporate lunches, etc.
