About The Role

Don’t want to be stuck behind a desk all day? Want that varied role that includes admin and also being able to get your hands dirty? Have a passion for freight and inventory? We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Brisbane Team.

Operations Support Officer / FT – Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

This role allows you to be supporting the operations of our main site within the state. You will be working in a small team, reporting to the State Manager.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenges of freight, orders and inventory movements, where you can learn and apply leading parts management processes whilst also learning about our product range.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading of trucks

Receipt stock in a timely manner

Follow up on late purchase orders

Process orders

Book transport

Updating inventory values on MYOB

Supervise/assist the loading of trucks if required

Work with the business to co-ordinate the storage, housekeeping and organisation of the stock and associated paperwork

Manage the restocking of product

Answer internal inquiries

Support sales staff

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Experience in ERP systems

Australian Drivers Licence

Forklift Licence

Competent in Excel

Excellent communication skills

Reliable

The ability to work within a team with a positive approach to challenges

Comfortable with computers and learning new systems

Ability to complete orders on a timely schedule

A commitment to following safe working practices

Knowledge of stores/inventory

Ability to lift heavy items, up to 25kgs

Ability to meet deadlines

Think on your feet
