Note - we are seeking candidates who are currently living in the Newcastle/Hunter region - However the role is hybrid.

What you’ll be doing:
Working within a small test team, you will be responsible for mostly manual and automation testing. You will be using agile delivery methods, as part of a cross-functional team, where you will work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and then implement fit-for-purpose solutions.

Working with a modern tech stack, you will utilise Cypress and Jira for testing whilst building out product and domain knowledge and being very involved in the planning and shaping of the product. In this hybrid role, you will be tasked with ensuring best QA standards are adopted and thrive throughout the business, whilst helping build a new greenfield automation suite for native testing.

This is a great opportunity to receive mentoring from experienced QA Engineers, who are top of their field and receive QA Certifications, if you don’t already have them.

Experience required:
You are a tertiary qualified tech professional with previous testing experience OR are a software engineer, looking to make the transition into software testing.

You will have a keen eye for detail, be both adaptable and coachable and want a career in the testing space. You will ideally be ISTQB certified, but if not, the business will pay for you to become certified.

You will be within a commutable distance of Lake Macquarie and have excellent communication skills. You will also be comfortable with coding from time to time.
