Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Performance Engineer with 5 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in performance engineering, with hands-on experience using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, AppDynamics, and performance tuning techniques.
Carry out performance testing, Load, Stress & Soak Tests as part of the post development quality assurance (QA) cycle. Performance testing involves checking the speed, reliability, scalability, stability, response time, and resource use of an application under the anticipated workload of quality check of the applications load handling and responsiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Expertise in tools like New Relic APM, JMeter, Lighthouse, AWS, Influx DB, Grafana, Ubuntu, Git, Azure.
- Conduct Load, Stress & Soak Tests during post-development QA cycle to ensure application performance.
- Work closely with performance lead for executing the load models that are developed
- Evaluate speed, reliability, scalability, stability, response time, and resource usage.
- Assess system's ability to handle production load and anticipate heavy load issues.
- Integrate continuous Performance Improvement across software development phases.
- Ensure consistent production performance, boosting deployment confidence.
- Optimize systems through continuous testing and monitoring, shifting-left performance.
- Monitor app post-release using Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
- Facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders, from analysts to developers.
- Serve as a trusted testing advisor, supporting diverse business units and testing methods.
- Enhance testing models and quality by consolidating and reusing assets.
- Provide holistic code view to ensure comprehensive performance testing.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Experience in designing models for automated WMS is mandatory.
- Experience in application performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git.
- In-depth knowledge of performance tuning techniques for web and database applications.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Groovy, or Shell scripting) for test automation.
- Should be capable learning and training on Adaps Work Hub which will be provided.
Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering.
- understanding of system architecture, including web servers, application servers, and databases.
Required Skill:
- New Relic APM, JMeter, Lighthouse, AWS, Influx DB, Grafana, Ubuntu, Git, Azure, Dynatrace, AppDynamics
Interpersonal Skills:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and occasionally external providers and contractors.
- Comfortable working in a team environment.
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external system users and business representatives.
- Capable of communicating with technical subject experts from client teams and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Btech or Equivalent
- Certifications in a performance testing tool
