Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Performance Test Lead with 8 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in performance engineering, with hands-on experience using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, AppDynamics, and performance tuning techniques.

This role involves working large multi geography teams to ensure optimal application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

Carry out performance testing, Load, Stress & Soak Tests as part of the post development quality assurance (QA) cycle. Performance testing involves checking the speed, reliability, scalability, stability, response time, and resource use of an application under the anticipated workload of quality check of the applications load handling and responsiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Design specific performance tests for automation warehouse systems
• Simulate load, stress, endurance, and volume testing scenarios to measure system performance.
• Monitor and analyse system behaviour during testing to identify potential performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and optimize performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues and recommend tuning strategies.
• Develop performance benchmarks and SLAs for applications.
• Use AppDynamics or similar APM tools to monitor application performance in production and test environments.
• Experienced in GraphQL
• Analyse logs, metrics, and monitoring data to identify trends and proactively address potential issues.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.
• Automate repetitive testing processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Provide detailed performance testing reports, including metrics, findings, and recommendations.
• Document test plans, test scripts, and performance tuning activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and DevOps, to deliver performance-optimized applications.
• Mentor junior engineers on performance testing best practices and tools.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Experience in designing models for automated WMS is mandatory.
• Proficiency in application performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git.
• In-depth knowledge of performance tuning techniques for web and database applications.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Groovy, or Shell scripting) for test automation.
• Should be capable learning and training on Adaps Work Hub which will be provided.
• Experience in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Performance testing certifications (e.g., LoadRunner or JMeter certifications) are a plus.

Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, including web servers, application servers, and databases.
• Proven track record of identifying and resolving performance issues in large-scale applications.

• Strong communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with teams.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adapt communication style for different contexts, including client communication, non-technical, and technical team interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:
