Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while efficiently providing administration and data entry skills. This role is fast paced and requires exceptional team work.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling with accuracy and efficiency.

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.

Handle patient records, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation.

Process billing and Medicare rebates.

Maintain a clean and organized reception and consulting rooms.

Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Proficiency in medical software (Shexie) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Understanding of medical terminology is an advantage.

A friendly and compassionate attitude towards patients and colleagues.
