As the Sales Team Leader in our Fashion Department (Fashion, Watches, Accessories, Jewelry) in Heinemann Duty Free at Departures is an integral member of supervising the delivery of customer service you will lead by example, driving sales, coaching and developing your team members to ensure they are providing great customer service.

You are passionate about the retail business and delivering an exceptional customer service experience. Others would describe you as energetic, driven, with strong communication skills. You are a natural leader and you use your interpersonal skills to bring a team together and are passionate about working with a customer to understand their needs.

As a Sales Team Leader you will

Deliver a high level of customer service both personally and within the team

Personally have, and develop a comprehensive understanding of product knowledge, best sellers, product features and benefits within the team

Coach, mentor and develop team members, ensuring correct company procedures are followed

Ensure visual presentation, merchandising and stock management meets company standards

Manage the customs compliance requirements both personally and within the team

Work collaboratively with other Team Leaders to innovate and deliver initiatives related to our people, customer and KPI targets

What you should bring along

Previous experience in leading a large team preferably within retail

A passion for delivering an exceptional customer service experience

Immaculate personal presentation

Strong communication skills

Multi-lingual advantageous, but not essential

The ability to work in a fast paced environment

As we are located in a dynamic airport environment, you must be available to work on a MID Shift from Wednesday-Sunday on a fixed roster.
