About the role

Join the dynamic team at Anita Gelato as our new Operations team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations .

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service and driving operational efficiency.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to maintain high standards of service and efficiency

Oversee staff scheduling, training and development to build a motivated and skilled team

Monitor inventory levels, procurement and stock control to optimise product availability and minimise wastage

Implement and enforce health, safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations

Analyse operational data and KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute strategic plans for growth and expansion

Provide hands-on support during peak periods to model exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

Proven track record of 2+ years in a senior operations management role within the hospitality industry

Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams

Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision making skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in inventory management, cost control and budgeting

Thorough understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements in the food service sector
