Own the daily transport schedule and lead proactive fleet coordination for a national freight business.
This is a hands-on scheduling and fleet operations role with a long-standing privately owned logistics provider. Working closely with key customers in the industrial and manufacturing sectors, you’ll be responsible for managing daily freight movements, fleet performance, and transport compliance with a focus on service and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily fleet schedules based on volumes and delivery requirements
• Manage load-out and movements to client sites
• Monitor and maintain COR, fatigue, and transport safety compliance
• Schedule and track fleet maintenance activities
• Respond quickly to delays or issues — communicate directly, not over email
• Coach customers and team members around realistic expectations
• Think ahead, solve problems on the fly, and keep things moving

About You:

• Confident with Excel and daily transport planning
• Strong communicator who can hold a room and resolve issues quickly
• Comfortable with early starts (6:30 AM typical)
• Experienced with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue, and safety compliance
• Proactive, grounded, and thrives in fast-moving environments
