Our client is a leader in providing Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, inclusive of distributing Building Management System (BMS) products both hardware and software. They provide IoT devices like environmental sensors, smart meters, and IoT controllers, distributing products across Australia.
OPPORTUNITY:
Business Development Manager: In this position you will focus on generating new business by promoting IoT device sales across Victoria & the East Coast. Through a consultative approach you will focus on numerous sectors and provide IoT product sales including BMS equipment, environmental sensors, smart meters and IoT controllers. While there is a strong online presence through the e-store for part sales, the successful candidate will be required to find and sign up new partners to continue to purchase these products in increasingly higher volumes. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing this partner network.
Full training will be provided and regional and interstate travel will be required from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
To be successful in this role, you will either have a passion for smart infrastructure IoT solutions, BMS experience or knowledge, or a technical background, as well as a creative, energetic and enthusiastic individual. You will come from a current sales or consultative background and have a strong interest and demonstrated experience within generating new sales and developing key client relationships.

- Excellent communication skills, outgoing, able to develop long term relationships and experienced in solution selling.
- Highly energetic and driven to succeed, you will be determined to secure new business and passionate about integrating advanced IoT technology into everyday life, making it smarter, safer, and more efficient.
