About the role

This is a full-time, office-based role in our Melbourne headquarters (Mitcham). As a Technical Sales and Business Development Specialist for Life Science at VFV Pty Ltd., you will be responsible for driving sales and growing our customer base within the life science and biopharmaceutical industry.

This role requires regular travel throughout Australia.

What you'll be doing

Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within the life science industry

Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and customers

Understand customer needs and provide technical expertise to propose tailored solutions

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations

Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities

What we're looking for

3-5 years of sales experience in the life science or medical technology industry

Strong technical understanding of single use life science products and applications used in Biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including GMP.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Demonstrated success in consultative selling, building long-term customer relationships and closing deals

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

Degree in a life science or a related field is highly desirable

Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) for effective pipeline management

Must have permanent right to work in Australia.
