About the opportunity
Step into a pivotal leadership role with NSW Health Pathology as an Administration Supervisor, where your expertise will drive the delivery of high-quality, efficient administrative services within our Forensic Medicine team. This Temporary Full-Time opportunity is ideal for a motivated administration professional with a passion for team development, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. You’ll oversee the day-to-day workflow of a dynamic administrative team, ensuring seamless service delivery that supports both internal teams and the broader community we serve.
In this hands-on role, you’ll manage work allocation, coach and guide staff, and contribute to policy and procedure development to improve outcomes and enhance service quality. You’ll also liaise with stakeholders, prepare high-level correspondence, and support governance and reporting functions aligned with the values and priorities of NSW Health Pathology. What you'll be doing
Lead and manage an administrative team to ensure the delivery of an effective, quality focused service to support the Forensic Medicine Administration team.

- Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, exercising independent judgement, discretion and initiative, prioritising work and meeting deadlines

- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, conflict resolution and risk management
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer-focused service and applying quality improvement initiatives to workplace practices and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of computer hardware, Microsoft software applications and electronic systems to complete work activities.
