The Role - Your Impact

As an Operations Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of driving positive change in the events industry. Your responsibilities will include pre-planning and administration with a strong leaning towards on-site event operations all throughout the state and Australia.

You'll take charge of end-to-end event waste management, from project planning to budgeting, risk assessment, and supplier communications. Your expertise and guidance will ensure that events are not only sustainable, and assist in delivering a fantastic event experience, but also drive brand recognition and ensuring budgets are met.

Supporting Closed Loop's various initiatives, you'll actively contribute to promoting sustainability, whether it's through our Simply Cups program, innovative packaging solutions, or new technologies. Your work will make a significant impact on waste diversion, reducing the environmental footprint of events, and inspiring others to adopt circular economy practices.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates who are ready to make a difference and who have a hands-on attitude and strong initiative.

Some experience in events or project management is ideal but not necessary but we are looking for applicants who share our passion for sustainability and waste reduction.

Your excellent communication skills will allow you to effectively engage with stakeholders, informing and advising them on sustainable practices.

As part of our dynamic team, you should be proactive, able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves traveling around Australia from time to time, so you must be comfortable being away from home for periods of time during our busy summer season.
