ABOUT THE ROLE

The Out There Group is seeking a talented Event Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Kingscliff, NSW. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless planning and execution of a diverse range of events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, possess the skills to multi tasks, and have a proven track record in successful stakeholder or client relations. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including project timelines, stakeholder management, budget management, and on-site coordination

Recruit and contract staff and volunteers for events, creating rosters, and coordinating on site workforce operations

Coordinate event related travel and accommodation for all event workforce

Collaborate with the Event Manager to develop critical event documentation

Manage event-related communications, including creating timelines, agendas, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders

Oversee the procurement of necessary event equipment and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness

Manage on site operational requirements during bump in and event time by coordinating activities and communicating effectively

Monitor and track event performance, gathering feedback to identify areas for improvement

Assist in the development and implementation of new event concepts and strategies

ABOUT YOU

Tertiary education in sports management or a related field (preferred)

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in event coordination or a related field

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders

Creative problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset

Proficiency in event management software, budgeting tools, and Microsoft Office suite

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Passion for the events industry and a keen eye for detail

Possess a positive "can do'' solutions approach

Able to travel domestically to events across the country
