FUNCTIONS & EVENTS COORDINATOR

Tindarra Resort is currently seeking a functions and events coordinator to assist in the execution of high-quality weddings and events in a beautiful resort setting. If you love special occasions and have a passion for creating memorable experiences, then we would love to hear from you.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide high level support to the Events Manager.
Manage purchasing budgets through stock control, wastage minimisation and correct processing.
Implement kids' activities for the resorts holiday programs as outlined by the Events Manager
Create, schedule and publish engaging content to promote the resorts events and services across all social media platforms.
In collaboration with the maintenance team complete the set up and tear down of all events as outlined by the Events Manager.
Supervise and manage all event suppliers ensuring that all event requirements are met.
Follow timelines, running sheets and floor plans outlined by the Events Manager to ensure the smooth operation of events and resort activations.
Monitor and evaluate event feedback with the Events Manager to improve future events.
Manage all hospitality equipment servicing for the resort.
Work alongside the maintenance team to manage the maintenance and upkeep of event specific areas.
Assist with the resorts front and back of house administration duties - reception, inbound calls and assisting with guest enquires.
Help maintain the resorts point of sale system to ensure correct reporting, pricing and processing.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene and applicable industry rules/regulations.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing requirements.
Lead and mentor the functions and events team members to ensure continuous improvement.
Using first aid training, assist in providing basic medical assistance to both employees and guests of Tindarra Resort.
ABOUT YOU:
Experience in event coordination or hospitality.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as dictated by the event schedule.
Current NSW RSA and first aid certification or willingness to obtain.
Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia
