Government organisation based in Sydney CBD requires temp Part Time Accounts Payable officer. 2 to 3 days a week.

A specialist government organisation is looking for an experienced PART TIME Accounts Payable officer for a 2 to 3 day role based in Sydney CBD.

Your new role

Working closely with the finance team, this part time temp role will be 2 to 3 days a week depending on experience level.

Key duties of the role will include:

Coding and entering invoices

Process payments and bank transfers

Generate and issue invoices

Purchase order process management

Invoice queries and requests from staff and suppliers

Assist with corporate credit card and petty cash payments

Assist with journals and GL reconciliations

Supplier statement and bank reconciliations

Staff expenses and corporate credit card payments

Payment reports

Using Sun system and Excel

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid experience in a full function Accounts Payable role
• Experience with some manual AP processes would be ideal
• SUN systems knowledge
• Able to work your chosen days in the Sydney CBD office
• Availability to work Thursday
