The Role:
Join JB Racks, a fast-growing start-up operating in two countries with plans for rapid international expansion, as our E-commerce Manager. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of our e-commerce presence, shaping the end-to-end customer journey and building a best-in-class online experience. We’re looking for a proactive, problem-solver passionate about driving front-end performance and mastering conversion rate optimization (CRO) to fuel our growth. Key Responsibilities:
E-commerce Strategy Development: Collaborate with the CMO and leadership to execute a scalable e-commerce strategy aligned with JB Racks’ growth goals, contributing ideas and insights to optimize online sales channels and ensure seamless customer experiences across current and future markets.
Front-End Performance Optimization: Drive user experience (UX) enhancements by overseeing website design, navigation, and functionality, with a strong focus on improving site speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall front-end performance.
Conversion Rate Optimization: Implement data-driven CRO tactics, such as A/B testing, user journey analysis, and landing page optimization, to boost conversion rates and reduce cart abandonment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure a cohesive online experience, aligning e-commerce initiatives with inventory management, logistics, and brand messaging.
Digital Performance Reporting: Deliver reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates, average order value, bounce rates, and traffic sources, using tools like Google Analytics to drive actionable insights.
International Market Expansion: Support JB Racks’ expansion into new countries by adapting e-commerce strategies for localization, including currency, language, and compliance with regional regulations.
Vendor, Apps and Technology Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors to optimize spend and maximize ROI, while leveraging automation tools to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
You’ll Bring:
- A strong foundation in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) and a bonus with experience in other digital channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).
- Well-rounded analytical and planning capabilities, with proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to drive data-informed decisions.
- A proactive, strategic, and analytical mindset, with exceptional project planning, implementation, and management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, fostering alignment and driving results.
- Bonus: Proven experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques, including A/B testing and UX improvements, with a passion for front-end performance.
