About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Daiwa Food Corporation Pty Ltd as a Web Store Manager. In this contract role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's online platform, ensuring it runs smoothly and delivers an exceptional customer experience. As the Web Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's e-commerce strategy and contributing to its overall success. The role is based in Mount Waverley, VIC 3149.

What you'll be doing

Manage the online store, including inventory management, order processing, and customer service

Develop and implement strategies to drive online sales, increase customer engagement, and improve the overall user experience

Analyse website performance data and make data-driven decisions to optimise the online store

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between the online store and other business operations

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the company's e-commerce presence

Monitor and address customer feedback, and implement improvements to address any pain points

Manage and mentor a team of e-commerce specialists to ensure high performance and continuous development

Lead and develop a team of [X] e-commerce specialists

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce management or a similar role

Proven track record of successfully managing and growing an online wholesale business

Excellent understanding of e-commerce platforms, user experience, search engine optimisation, and digital marketing strategies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of e-commerce specialists

Familiarity with wholesale operations, inventory management, and customer service best practices

Experience with Shopify, Magento, or similar e-commerce platforms

Proficiency in Google Analytics and digital marketing tools

Bachelor's degree in Business, E-commerce, Digital Marketing or related field

Demonstrated success in achieving e-commerce KPIs including conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention

Must have permanent right to work in Australia

Valid Police Check required
