Position Overview

Our Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients at our clinic. The ideal candidate will be organised, empathetic, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilties

• Managing the clinic's appointment calendar, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments
• Assisting patients with registration and check-in procedures, ensuring accuracy in data entry
• Handling patient inquiries, answering phone calls, and responding to emails in a timely and professional manner
• Processing billing information and payments, and assisting with Medicare lodgements
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information and adhering to clinic policies
• Supporting the clinic team with general administrative tasks as required

About You

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare setting (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills
