The Bayblue Management team is seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Sous Chef to join their team.

This family owned group own the Palmwoods Hotel, Beerwah Hotel and the newly renovated Glasshouse Tavern.

The Hotels requires an experienced and energetic Senior Sous Chef to join its successful kitchen teams.

The successful applicant must be keen to become an important member of a high performance team in a fast growing and busy Hotel / Restaurant environment and must have the enthusiasm, determination and skills to enhance our good reputation.

You Must -

Have at least 2 - 5 Years experience in a similar role

Have great all round skills

Be a team player

Be a "cool, calm and collected" stable individual under pressure

Have a passion for preparing exciting, tasty food

Be able to contribute ideas to further improve the menu and help create the "wow factor" so as to excite our customers

Have a sound knowledge of "costing a menu" and "costing weekly specials"

Have a positive "can do" attitude with strong work ethic and strong communication skills

Be able to work the hours required, any day of the week including split shifts as required

Able to lead, inspire and coordinate a team of 6 chefs and 2 apprentices/school based trainees

Have reliable transport
