Our beachfront location and modern menu make our 350-pax bistro a bustling hotspot, delivering daily lunch and dinner service. The successful candidate will work in conjunction with our Head Chef and Sous Chefs in running daily operations alongside our diverse team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen hands.

Duties of the role will include:

Ensure the highest quality control of product

Menu design , Stock Control

Train, develop, and mentor junior staff

Provide strong, clear, and empathetic leadership

Maintain a systems-oriented approach and foster teamwork

Promote harmony and collaboration within the kitchen and with the wider front of house service team

We’re looking for someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

Trade Qualification

Minimum of two (2) years experience in a sous chef role

Experienced with stock control including ordering

Experienced with cost of goods

Experience with leading a kitchen team

Strong understanding of Food, Safety and Hygiene practices

Excellent communicator at all levels, and strong interpersonal skills

Acts with integrity, honesty, empathy and fairness towards colleagues, suppliers, and customers

Ability to remain calm under pressure with high volume
