activIT systems is a steadily growing, and sustainable, IT service provider headquartered in Malaga, Western Australia, with a branch office in Devonport, Tasmania. We take care of IT and cybersecurity for small and medium business. We’ve been around since 2004, have a long list of loyal clients, and a hugely passionate team.
As one of Perth's leading Managed Service Providers, we've a unique opportunity available for someone who has great aptitude for technology, loves helping people find solutions, loves to be creative, and is a great communicator. We're not just in high demand because of what we do, but it's HOW we do it - with passion, innovation, and super persistence.
This role is eligible for our nine day fortnight programme, which consists of full salary, Mondays or Fridays off each fortnight, and no requirement to make up time anywhere. You become eligible after six months tenure, and can find more info on the News page of our website.

has maybe worked in tech retail before, but doesn't want to work in retail any more :)
brings some experience in understanding problems and identifying solutions to people
keeps up to date with the latest CPU's, video cards, benchmark scores,
finds an opportunity to be helpful and useful, where others do not
uses their knowledge to be persuasive; for example, understands and can articulate in plain language why laptop A is a better fit than laptop B based on the clients requirements
thrives on compliance, process and precision; hates it when the I's are not dotted and the T's are not crossed

The right person in this role will be pivotal in our journey. You'll be nestled in with our WA technical team, and right in the thick of all the IT & cyber security action.
This is not a "hunter" style business development role - sales sharks need not apply as we don't operate like that - but rather a role that is centred around nurturing our existing clients and supporting our wider team, and supplementing our customer service efforts.
There are two main areas of focus:
Pre and post sales support for our clients, for their business-as-usual IT requirements
Processing of sales orders and procurement of parts and supplies
Typical Responsibilities include:
Preparing quotations for clients with IT equipment and software needs
Processing of sales orders & invoicing
Working with vendors to procure equipment and supplies for clients
Building relationships with vendors and understanding their product offerings
Helping clients roadmap their IT & hardware needs for the future alongside our account managers
