Job Type: Full time, Salary contract

Salary: 75,000 - 85,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Our cafe is located in the heart of Tannum Sands on a thriving beach oasis. Our coastal town is rapidly growing and we want to continue to provide our community with fresh and creative dishes; seasonal menus, weekly specials and catering.

What You’ll Do:

Lead all kitchen operations with a hands-on, team-first approach

Oversee food preparation, presentation, and portion control

Design and execute seasonal menus and weekly specials

Maintain food and labour cost targets

Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards

Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff

Work closely with management to organise catering

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef ready to step up

Strong leadership and communication skills

A passion for modern food trends and seasonal ingredients

Ability to manage kitchen costs and rosters

Creativity and attention to detail

Relevant culinary qualifications
