About Ranges Coffee

Ranges Coffee was founded 20 years ago in the Yarra Valley and is a trusted supplier serving over 900 customers nationwide. Our clientele spans diverse sectors including hospitality, cafes, function centres, wineries, and workplaces.

As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a customer service and sales professional, preferably with a love of coffee, to ensure our customer service is as well regarded as our coffee.

About the role

Role: Full-time, permanent

Location: Lilydale, Victoria

As a key member of the Ranges Coffee team, the Internal Sales/Customer Service representative is tasked with delivering exceptional service to both customers and staff through effective phone communication, adept problem-solving, and a proactive approach to building strong business relationships.

This role demands versatility, with responsibilities extending to email and web-based inquiries, alongside active engagement in day-to-day operations.

Driving new and existing business by promoting additional products is also a key focus.

Role activities

Sales support - assisting the sales team with pre-sale enquiries, quoting and post-sale follow ups

Customer service - courteous and professional customer assistance

Phone usage - managing and directing incoming calls, with accurate message handling and follow-ups

Critical thinking and problem solving - helping balance customer needs and organisational goals to create win-wins.

Organisational skills - ability to juggle tasks and schedules to support office operations

Experience & Skills

Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

Ability to remain composed under pressure.

Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
