About the Role:
We’re seeking a proactive and organised Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Red Shed. This role involves managing day-to-day interactions with visitors, answering calls and emails, signing up new members, giving tours of the facility, and helping with bookings and enquiries. You’ll also assist with the coordination of schedules and activities, general marketing tasks and provide administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception and Visitor Assistance: Greet visitors, sign up new members, give tours, and assist with enquiries.
Booking Support: Help clients book rowing and gym sessions, recovery centre appointments, and event spaces.
Wellness Centre Assistance: Set up clients with recovery tools such as compression boots and the EMS machine.
Administrative Tasks: Answer calls and emails, update the system, and provide general office support.
Basic Coordination: Assist with scheduling, coordinating facility activities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Marketing Assistance: Support marketing efforts through email marketing (EDMs) and social media posts as needed.
Event Support: Help set up and pack down events.
Facilities Support: Occasionally assist with keeping the facility tidy and organised.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience or willingness to learn in admin, reception, or customer service, preferably in a health, fitness, or wellness setting.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
A proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to the fast-paced environment of a startup.
Interest in health and wellness, with a passion for community-focused work.

Flexibility based on availability. We are looking for a full-time role over 5 days of the week but as we're a 7 day per week business are open to including Saturday or Sunday in the rotation. We're also open to job share arrangements.
