Your Role: A Balance Between Medical & Retail
1. Receptionist – The Vein Institute
As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the front desk, greeting patients, and handling enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating clinic workflows.
Processing invoices and payments, ensuring accurate billing and Medicare rebate processing.
Assisting medical staff with administrative support and maintaining patient records.
Ensuring the clinic is well-organised and running efficiently.
Providing administrative assistance to the Medical Director, including calendar management and correspondence.
2. Retail Assistant – Bauerfeind
You’ll also engage with customers in the Bauerfeind retail store, helping them find the best premium medical and sports products to suit their needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Assist customers via online ticketing, live chat, and inbound calls.
Provide expert product recommendations to occasional walk-in customers.
Deliver exceptional service and support while developing strong product knowledge.
Work closely with a dynamic team, gaining experience across multiple areas.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in reception, retail, or customer service is preferred, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Ability to multitask effectively across different responsibilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or patient management systems is a bonus.
Interest in healthcare, medical products, or sports recovery is an advantage.
A proactive, independent mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Availability to work part-time across both roles, with potential for full-time transition.
