Position Title: Receptionist
Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time (40 hours per week | Mon–Fri)
Location: Braddon, ACT
Annual Salary: $55,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Working Arrangements: On-site

ABOUT THE ROLE We’re thrilled to be partnering with The Raiders to find an exceptional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the iconic Canberra Raider's Centre located in Braddon.

The Raiders Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that supports elite performance and community sport alike, offering rehabilitation and sports medicine services, nutrition and meal prep, flexible indoor training zones, and access to premium turf surfaces for everything from academy programs to local competitions.

We’re now on the lookout for a switched-on, organised and proactive Receptionist to become the welcoming face of this establishment. You’ll play a key role in keeping the Centre running like clockwork, managing front-of-house operations, supporting admin and facilities, and being the go-to person that staff and visitors rely on daily.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Front of House Operations

  • Opening and closing reception daily

  • Greeting walk-ins and triaging enquiries

  • Coordinating with maintenance workers and contractors

  • Managing reception inbox and phone system (3CX)

  • Handling click-and-collect orders

Administration Tasks

  • Printing, laminating, and general office upkeep

  • Managing subscriptions (e.g., directories, newspapers)

  • Updating internal documents and directories

  • Preparing courier quotes and bookings

Deliveries

  • Coordinating front gate arrivals and parcel deliveries

  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail

Facilities Coordination

  • Overseeing daily cleaning and maintenance

  • Booking and setting up meeting rooms

  • Coordinating shared space rosters (e.g., kitchen)

  • Managing internal servicing for office equipment

  • Providing general support to internal teams

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior strong and demonstrated experience in a receptionist, administration, or facilities coordination role

  • Excellent multitasking, time management and prioritsation

  • Immaculate presentation and communication skills

  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office and modern phone/email systems

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must have permanent working rights in Australia

  • Willingness to complete any relevant background checks
