Our Client

u&u has partnered with an industry leading company, to recruit a permanent, full time Accounts Payable Officer. Our client has been operating across Australia for over 40 years, and this position is based in the head office, in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

Your Contribution

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be working alongside a team of four in Accounts Payable, and a large wider finance function. Responsible for managing the end to end accounts payable function for the business;

• Data entry of invoices into ERP;
• Managing staff expenses;
• Reconciling corporate credit cards;
• Reconciling supplier statements;
• Preparing scheduled and adhoc payment runs;
• Answering supplier queries and managing relationships; and
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a finance role, and be keen to learn the ropes of the payables function in a new organisation.

Our client are happy to teach the end to end role to somebody who has an entry level demonstrated understanding of accounts payable, and an eager attitude.

• Accounts payable exposure in a professional environment;
• A customer centric attitude and strong communication skills;
• Demonstrated use of ERP systems – SAP, Dynamics365, Oracle;
• Demonstrated knowledge of Excel; and
• Eager to work in a friendly team environment.

Other

• Permanent, full time position;
• $60,000 - $70,000 + super;
• Fortitude Valley location – close to multiple public transport options; and
