We have an outstanding opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer who would love to work in a school environment. This role is initially on a 12 month maternity leave contract.

You will find an amazing Manager and close knit finance team where you instantly feel welcome.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys everything there is about Accounts Payable. Although it would be amazing if you have previous school experience, our client is also open to an experienced AP candidate who would love the opportunity to gain experience in that area!

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Full function accounts payable
• Code and process invoices
• Match purchase orders
• Process supplier transactions
• Generate electronic payment runs
• Accounts reconciliations
• Process Department purchases and reimbursement claims
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Database maintenance and maintain registers
• Administer Cab charge vouchers and reconcile
• Liaise with various stakeholders in relations to suppliers, invoice and credit card enquiries
• Ad hoc duties to assist the Finance Team

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must have a current Blue Card (or be happy to apply for one - will need to have prior to start date)
• Previous Accounts Payable experience
• High level attention to detail
• Team player attitude and love working as part of a team
