Join Our Team: Part-Time Medical Receptionist at Mona Vale Doctors

We’re seeking an energetic and friendly medical receptionist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations, excellent patient experiences, and efficient communication within the practice.

About Mona Vale Doctors:

We are a thriving, doctor-owned medical practice located in the heart of Mona Vale, Sydney’s Northern Beaches, within walking distance to great shops, cafes and restaurants. We have just completed a beautiful expansion and renovation. Our close-knit team includes four GPs, a practice manager, two nurses, and another receptionist. We’re passionate about providing exceptional patient care and fostering a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly, manage appointments, and handle enquiries

Assist with patient registrations; process billings accurately and efficiently; maintain accurate records; and ensure patient confidentiality

Assist with managing result, recalls and reminders

Work closely with our GPs, nurse, practice manager and current receptionist in a collaborative manner

About the Role:

Days required are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Hours are 8am-8:30am start, 5-6pm finish (staggered with other receptionist and practice manager)

Qualifications:

Prior medical receptionist experience preferred but not essential

Familiarity with Best Practice and HotDoc software, Xero Accounting Software and Microsoft 365 preferable but not essential

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Willingness to work hard, learn and contribute to our practice’s growth and success

Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

Demonstrate ability to prioritise and organise, multi-task, problem solve and work under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy

Undertake all duties in a diligent manner with honesty and integrity

Requirements:

Permanent resident of Australia

Police Clearance Certificate
