We are seeking a casual Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team in a busy specialist practice. What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring a positive first impression of the practice

Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling confidential information with the utmost care with attention to detail.

Work closely with the medical professionals in a fast faced, team oriented environment.

Ensure of the smooth running of the front desk operations, using the medical software - Genie.

Providing administrative support to the medical team, including filing, data entry, and general office duties

Handling patient inquiries and providing exceptional customer service

Assisting with the coordination of patient flow and managing the reception area

Maintaining a professional and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the healthcare industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, medical staff, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure

Proficiency in using medical software and standard office equipment

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

A reliable candidate who is flexible to work in a team environment.

The candidate should be able to cover extra shifts, when it's needed.

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
